Dear Harmony,
We had our first snowfall today. It was the most beautiful thing ever. I went for a walk to clear my mind; through our secret part of the woods where the edges of our properties meet. I'd almost forgotten how lovely the tree arches look in the snow—all glittery, like the interior of a pristine white cathedral.
I was wearing that sweater you despised so much. And I remembered how much you hated snow. Said it was an inconvenience. You never could stay out too long; your cheeks would grow pink and your nose redder than Rudolph's. I would always tease you about it before pulling you along in my sled. We'd either go to my house or yours and our mothers would fix us hot drinks. You always had to have the most marshmallows.
When I got home today I dumped almost an entire bag of mini marshmallows in my cocoa.
I didn't drink it.
